Advanced HDR by Technicolor™ provides fully automated, content-aware, re-grading to modify color space, EOTF, and target display brightness. Cinnafilm’s Dark Energy tools complement the re-grading process by ensuring that it doesn’t adversely accentuate noise and texture from the original video.

  • Converts 709 SDR to PQ or HLG with Rec. 2020 Color
  • Converts HDR content back to SDR with optimized tone mapping
  • Dynamically adjusts tone mapping pixel by pixel, frame by frame, and scene by scene
  • Advanced controls allow the automated output to be further tuned to achieve a content-specific look
  • Integrates Dark Energy noise reduction and texture management before and after conversion
