Skywalker Sound Tools (SST) harnesses the knowledge and experience of the Skywalker Sound team into a fully automated audio processing solution. Built on the in-house tools used daily at the Skywalker Ranch, SST handles complex audio tasks like downmixing, loudness normalization, and retiming with pitch correction. Skywalker Sound Tools are available exclusively through Cinnafilm’s PixelStrings Platform.

What it Does
  • Loudness analysis and correction to all common industry standards, including dialog gated loudness.
  • Flawless audio retiming and pitch correction
  • Channel mapping and mixing
  • Supports multiple multi-channel audio tracks, up to a maximum of 512 total channels
  • Works with embedded audio from video files, or sidecar WAV files (or both)
